ASK YOUR ANGELS

I have been re-reading a book that is called " Ask your Angels"  this book is written by Alma Daniel, Timothy Wyllie, and Andrew Ramer. You can find this book in any book store or try your Library.

With the way the world is shifting and all the negativeness outside in the world we as people must find some kind of positive outlook to feel safe. I feel that this book helpes me wich in turn I could help other pepole by just thinking positive. I  would like to share with you a paragraph out of this book.

 An  Angel of Grace:

The work of these angels is to weave together the spiritual and material realms. These angels never stop their weaving. Whoever crosses their path is woven into their work for an indelible instant, experiencing God's love and goodness. Grace comes as a gift, unbidden, and enriches and catalyzes our lives. If you have ever had a moment of joy in the midst of your sorrow, your know what grace is. The more conscious you are of these angels, the more open your will be to feeling these moments of grace all the time. When you choose this being in your reading, open your heart and smile.

I find this to be soothing in such a harsh world that we live in. I hope you enjoyed what I've posted and I would only ask for all of you to. CALL ON YOUR ANGLES. They will alway's be there to comfort you.

I thought I would let you all see how my garden's have been growing with all that rain that we have been getting for a month. The first will be the flower garden and then the vegetable garden.

At the top from left to right is, balloon flowers, galdious, red lilly, dasiy, white easter lilly's, yucka pant, and then my veg garden, peas in a row out front, cucumber's, tomatoes okra on far right and the whole garden at left center and of course all this could not be possible if not for my gardner Mr. B. What a man!!!!.

I hope you enjoyed all the pictures and I so much wanted all of you to see what I have been up to. I did get over heated last Sunday so this Saturday I took it easy and let Mr. B move some plants around that have gotten so big that they have out grown their place.

Now gardner's let me see your garden's. It doesen't matter if it is in the ground or in pots on the patio or even it they are inside. If you are growing it I want to see it. Now is time to show your stuff.

I want to see Pic.s

Have a great weekend and remember I am waiting.

HAVE A BROWNIE ON ME!!!

Hello everyone,

Sorry I haven't been around much. With the new baby and trying to stay up on my garden wich I might say is doing very well with all the rain we have been getting.

I just planted cauliflower and in about 2 weeks I will be planting broccolli. The peas are comming along very nicely and so are the squash an tomatoes along with carrotts and peppers. Now if the rabbits will leave my okra alone I'll get along just fine.

As far as the flower garden well that is another story. It is a fight with the weeds.

But I will win!!  I had to strong arm a dadoline (can't spell) But after digging and pulling I finally got it out of the garden. I'm also have some little grosshoppers that I am fighting.

Oh well a garden is a full time job.

To change the story I noticed that some of the people that I would talk to are not posting any blog's. I also noticed that people are starting to drop off of mindsay.

My thouhgts are that I like comming here and talking to all of you. This blog is different than alot out there. Most blogs don't want to talk they just want to show pictures of this and that and talk about there pictures which is ok to but I find that when I come here we really talk. Sorry to see so many dropping off of mindsay.

Now that I have spoke my mind about mindsay How would you all like a brownie?

Well I fixed browinies last night and I thought I'd share one with you. Or the whole pan!

Sorry I couldn't send you a brownie. Mindsay would not let me. Humf, But is was pertty.

Smile and the whole  world smiles with you and if you can't just eat a brownie.

God bless all my mindsay contacts.

GRANDKIDS ARE A HOOT!
Cherries.JPG hosted for free by ImageShack freezing cherries with cherry pitter.JPG hosted for free by ImageShack Copy of Sloane and Aiden.jpg hosted for free by ImageShack Nickolas 6 month & Todd 6yrs..JPG hosted for free by ImageShack
Hello all I'm sorry that I haven't written lately but you see I have 4 grandchildren that I have been babysitting because school is out.
They are keeping me really busy. I never felt so old as I have, in the past week.
They are fun also. The other day I had bought some cherries, so I went to get my
cherry stoner to pit the cherries. My oldest grandson Aiden and his sister Sloane stood there and
watched me pit the cherries. He was so impressed that he put his hands in the air
and said very loudly that " you are the awesomees grandmother I have, you have a cherry pitter". Well I felt pretty important to be the most awesomees grandmother that I lost my head and let them eat a good portion of the cherry's and I didn't have much to freeze.
Every month I let one of the grandkids stay all night and they get to pick what place they want to eat at and they get to go to the toy store and pick out a resonable price toy. $15.00 - $20.00. Now this Saturday is Todd's turn to stay, so I asked him a week ago to pick someplace to eat and today he informed me that he wanted to eat at
a Japanese steak house. Then went on to say," you know mamaw the place where they cook the food in front of you and they toss food at you to eat". Well I thought this kid is really on the ball about this eating out!!! But I had said OK we will go. When I told Mr. B my husband where Todd had picked for eating out Mr. B was impressed and said my kinda kid.
Now today the littest one Nickolas sounded off by talking baby talk. He is 6 months old and is just thrilled that he has so many kids to talk to him and play with him. Unless he is hungry or tired you don't here much grumbling from him. But today he sounded off loud and clear. He had a dirty diaper. Now all the children followed me into the changing table to see just how bad it was. And of course it was bad at least all the yuck's and wooo's and faning their hands away from there noses, and giggling at the sight of it. I had to agree it was bad.
But little Nickolas just laugh and giggled and just thought nothing about the dirty diaper. I myself wonder how long he had been storing such a large amount? He was a seven wiper!!!
After all the ado with Nickolas the kids settled down for a movie. And I after getting Nickolas a sleep sat down and said Whew! If only I could take a little nap.
The children were picked up by there mothers one by one and I was so glad to be able to finally rest and turn the TV onto NCSI. The kids programs are giving me a head zoneing.
If you don't know what a head zone is I will tell you that when you get one of these you just feel like your head is going to turn to mush if you watch one more kid show so instead of mushing out you zone out, you go to a place in your mind that nothing is stored in and you stay for as long as you need to, in my case about 2 hours.
Well I hope you had a good time reading this and I so much wanted to tell you all that I LOVE MY GRANDKIDS!!!!.
Have a great Saturday. We are suppose to have a sunny and warm day towmorrow. Hurray!!
That means more garderning. My broccolli is comming up. yeah

THIS IS HILARIOUS "CHILI COOK-OFF
IF YOU ARE DOWN THEN YOU MUST READ THIS. THIS WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH NO MATTER HOW SAD YOU ARE AND IF YOU DON'T LAUGH THEN ALL I CAN SAY IS GEEZ LOUISIE.

THEY ACTUALLY HAVE A CHILI COOK-OFF ABOUT THE TIME HALLOWEEN COMES AROUND. IT TAKES UP A MAJOR PORTION OF A PARKING LOT AT THE SANANTONIO CITY PARK.
JUDGE #3 WAS AN INEXPERIENCED CHILI TASTER NAMED FRANK, WHO WAS VISITING FROM SPRINGFIELD, IL.

FRANK: recently, I was honored to be selected as a judge at a chili cook-off. The original person called in sick at the last moment and I happened to be standing there at the judge's table, asking for directions to the Coors Light truck, when the call came in. I was assured by the other two judges (Native Texans) that the chili wouldn't be all that spicy; and, besides, they told me I could have free beer during the tasting, so I accepted and became Judge 3."

Here are the scorecard notes from the event:

Chili # 1 - MIKE MANIAC MONSTER CHILI

Judge # 1 -- A little too heavy on the tomato. Amusing kick.
Judge # 2 -- Nice, smooth tomato flavor. Very mild.
Judge # 3 -- (Frank)-- Holy Crap, what the hell is this stuff? you could remove dried paint from your driveway, Took me two beers to put the flames out. I hope that's the worst one. These Texans are crazy.

CHILI # 2 - AUSTIN'S AFTERBURNER CHILI

Judge # 1 -- Smoky, with a hint of pork. Slight jalapeno tang.
Judge # 2 -- Exciting BBQ flavor, needs more peppers to be taken seriously.
Judge # 3 -- Keep this out of the reach of children. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to taste besides pain. I had to wave off two people who wanted to give me the Heimlich maneuver. They had to rush in more beer when they saw the look on my face.

CHILI # 3 - FRED'S FAMOUS BURN DOWN THE BARN CHILI

Judge # 1 -- Excellent firehouse chili. great kick.
Judge # 2 -- A bit salty, good use of peppers.
Judge # 3 -- Call the EPA. I've located a uranium spill. My nose feels like I have been snorting Drano. everyone knows the routine by now. Get me more beer before I ignite. Barmaid pounded me on the back, now my backbone is in the front part of my chest. I'm getting shit-faced from all of the beer.

CHILI #4 - BUBBA'S BLACK MAGIC

Judge # 1 -- Black bean chili with almost no spice. disappointing
Judge # 2 -- Hint of lime in the black beans. Good side dish for fish or other mild foods, not much of a chili.
Judge # 3 -- I felt something scraping across my toungue, but was unable to taste it. Is it possible to burn out taste buds? Sally, the beer maid, was standing behind me with fresh refills. This 300 lb. woman is starting to look HOT.. just like this nuclear waste I'm eating! Is chili an aphrodisiac?

CHILI # 5 - LISA'S LEGAL LIP REMOVER

Judge # 1 -- Meaty, strong chili. Cayenne peppers freshly ground, adding considerable kick. Very impressive.
Judge # 2 - Chili using shredded beef, could use more tomato. Must admit the cayenne peppers make a strong statment.
Judge # 3 -- My ears are ringing, sweat is pouring off my forehead and I can no longer focus my eyes. I farted, and four people behind me needed paramedics. The contestant seemed offended when I told her that her chili had given me brain damage. Sally saved my tongue from bleeding by pouring beer directly on it from the pitcher. I wonder if I'm burning my lips off.It really ticks me off that the other judges asked me to stop screaming. Screw them.

CHILI # 6 - VERA'S BERY VEGETARIAN VARIETY

Judge # 1 -- Thin yet bold vegetarian variety chili. good balance of spices and peppers.
Judge # 2 -- The best yet. Aggressive use of peppers, onions, garlic. Superb.
Judge # 3 -- My intestines are now a straight pipe filled with gaseous, sulfuric flames. I crapped on myself when I farted, and I'm worried it will eat through the chair. No one seems inclined to stand behind me except that Sally. Can't feel my lips anymore. I need to wipe my butt with a snow cone.

CHILI # 7 - SUSAN'S SCREAMING SENSATION CHILI

Judge # 1 -- A mediocre chili with too much reliance on canned peppers.
Judge # 2 -- Ho hum, tastes as if the chef literally threw in a can of chili peppers at the last moment.
**I should take note that I am woried about Judge # 3. He appears to be in a bit of distress as he is cursing uncontrollably.
Judge # 3 -- You could put a grenade in my mouth, pull the pin, and I wouldn't feel a thing. I've lost sight in one eye, and the world sounds like it is made of rushing water. My shirt is covered with chili, which slid unnoticed out of my mouth. My pants are full of lava to match my shirt. At least during the autopsy, they'll know what killed me. I've decided to stop breatinig it's too painful. Screw it; I'm not getting any oxygen anyway. if I need air, I'll just suck it in thrugh the 4-inch hole in my stomach.

CHILI # 8 - BIG TOM'S TOENAIL CURLING CHILI

Judge # 1 -- The perfect ending, this is a nice blend chili. Not too bold but spicy enough to declare its existence.
Judge # 2 -- This final entry is a good, balanced chili. Neither mild nor hot.
Sorry to see that most of it was lost when Judge #3 farted, passed out, fell over and pulled the chili pot down on top of himself. Not sure if he's going to make it. Poor feller, wonder how he'd have reacted to really hot chili?
Judge # 3 -- NO REPORT

I HOPE YOU HAD A GOOD LAUGH. AND MY LAST WORDS ON THIS IS, " LAUGH TILL IT HURTS!!

The Veg Garden has been planted
veg garden.JPG hosted for free by ImageShack Darrell and Veg garden.JPG hosted for free by ImageShack sprouts-broccolli.JPG hosted for free by ImageShack veg garden just planted 5-30-08.JPG hosted for free by ImageShack

The rain's have stopped long enough for us to get the garden out. Last week my husband as you can see tilled up the ground just before the rain moved back in on us. The face he is making is that he really, really, wanted to do this job. He is such a great guy. We did get some plants, planted before it down poured. The tomatoes, peppers and okra. Then Wednesday it stopped long enough for us to get the squash in, then back to rain. Now today we planted the carrotts and peas and I started broccolli from seed last week in some small pots and they all came up so and doing well so far. I well be able to plant them in the garden in a couple weeks.

So yeah!!! we finally got our garden in. It was a very nice day today. We had some clouds that came in and for awhile we thought it was just going to down pour but the winds came in and blew the clouds out. Yes it was a very nice day.I dead headed some of the flower's so it will promote more growth. And I found out the ants love the humingbird feeder. So towmorrow I will be cleaning it out and putting in new food for the humingbirds. Darrell has said there is something you can put where the hook is that ants don't like. I will have to investigate the matter. I haven't seen any humingbirds around lately, the last time I saw one was around the first of May. But maybe some are still hanging around here.

Well I hope everyone has a lovely day on Sunday. Enjoy the day. And God Bless you.
